Would weld repair of 4-speed output shaft splines be effective?
The output splines of my '76 4-speed are damaged where the transfer input gear rides. About half the width of each spline is damaged.

Anybody have a late model FJ40 door (either side) that is too trashed to do anything with, but part out? I need the small sheet metal bracket that is welded on the front (jamb) of the door where the door stopper attaches.
