SoulCysters advice - natural cycle or IVF?
06:23 5-Nov-09   [Replies: 0, Views: 15]    By: Unnamed
I know seems like such a chasm between the 2 options..... I have a 22 month old DS, conceived naturally on a "spontaneous ovulation" (Drs words). When started ttc#2, went on metformin and ovulation induction (clomid then femara) immediately. 3 ro...

11:52 22-Aug-09   [Replies: 1, Views: 7]    By: Unnamed
I think I ovulated today early afternoon - my cm basically completely dried up. I had an u/s this morning (CD 14) with 1 huge follie at 23+ mm and another at 18. I was given an hCG trigger and told to return the following morning for my first IUI. If...

Has something similar happened to anyone? Did you determine what happened? On 12 dpo on my previous cycle (resulted in bfn) I had severe uterine cramping in the middle of the night which had me in the bathroom for 30 min. this is not normal for me....

SoulCysters How do you get thru the post-bfn funk?
06:16 10-Aug-09   [Replies: 7, Views: 88]    By: Unnamed
I'm in my 4th medicated cycle post-bfn funk right now. Not the worst I've had to date, but not the best either. I'm sulking, depressed, not being the best mom and wife and inwardly bitter at my friends who are pg with #2 right now (maybe jealous is...

SoulCysters trying to understand my diagnosis - subclinical hypothyroidism
12:09 8-Aug-09   [Replies: 1, Views: 76]    By: Unnamed
I'm trying to keep this as succinct as possible....... I have recently been diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism. I am living in Japan but don't speak Japanese, so communication with both my Endo and RE are suboptimal and I have been doing so...

SoulCysters subclinical hypothyroidism?
05:17 30-Jul-09   [Replies: 8, Views: 79]    By: Unnamed
I posted this on the TTC forum, but thought I would post over here too as my major concern is if I conceive this cycle and start meds for hypothyroidism - doesn't seem ideal as they monitor dosages to see how I respond, etc. Would like to hear other ...

05:00 30-Jul-09   [Replies: 6, Views: 63]    By: Unnamed
I just got back from my RE and they did my 6dpo bloodwork and finally fit in my thyroid function testing. The results were normal T3, T4, elevated TSH (at 6.0). I'm in Japan and don't speak japanese so I wasn't able to ask a lot of questions (and I s...

SoulCysters anyone use Instead soft cups for bfp and have a happy & healthy child?
10:28 26-Jul-09   [Replies: 11, Views: 170]    By: Unnamed
I have tried Instead cups this month for the first time while ttc #2. Of course after I use them there is now some debate in the ttc forum about the "safety" of using them for ttc. Specifically, some argue that the cups will allow the poor sperm to e...
