法新社渥太華14日電） 警方表示，加拿大航空旗下的爵士（Air Canada Jazz）航空班機，昨晚未發生故障或醫療事故，卻意外改降落在西部地區，只因一名乘客偷竊機上啤酒。
皇家騎警（Royal Canadian Mounted Police）警員霍姆斯（Steve Holmes）向「法新社」（AFP）透露，一名乘客偷走餐車上啤酒，並試圖把所有空罐從這架50人座的飛機馬桶中沖掉，以湮滅證據。
飛機原定由溫哥華（Vencouver）飛往亞伯達省（Alberta）麥克暮瑞堡（Fort McMurray），但卻改降落在卑詩省（British Columbia）的基羅納（Kelowna），隨後警員上機，逮捕23歲的啤酒竊賊。
