I have just bought a new (butter) cream leather 2+3 seater set. I'm planning on ripping up the carpet and polishing the floorboards, so there will be darkwood floors and furniture. Pitcures on the wall are quite colourful and framed with thick white trim and black fames. I'm thinking of getting a black shagpile-ish rug once we get the wood floors.
I was thinking off-white walls in a slightly creamy shade, but I have been told that the couch will blend in and look too boring.
