I have gorgeous jarrah stairs and floorboards on my 2nd floor, however downstairs I have rancid cream carpet.
Due to allergy issues I need to get rid of the carpet ASAP. Sadly for me, I can't afford to have jarrah boards to match and am having to opt for floating laminate flooring.
Have had a few quotes and opinions and some think I should use a jarrah colour laminate, while others think a lighter contrasting colour would be good.
The room is quite dark, and the stairs are exposed.
