I never receive Communion on the hand because I was raised believing in the Real Presence (and because there's a good chance that the host will fall).. I lined up for Communion and when it was my turn the Minister gestured for me to extend my hand

QUOTE They did not have a church and actually worshipped in people's houses right? Even the first Communion was not inside a church or temple so I am not sure why you are both so adamant about disgracing the Body of Christ or that it is not right to have Communion in one's home

What then? Our pastor purifyies his chalice at the altar after Communion. The rest of the sacred vessels are taken by the altar servers from the altar after Communion and placed on the side table to be purified by Father after Mass
