The latest disinformation campaign has now started calling the 2009 pandemic an epidemic.. This follows disinformation on the end of the pandemic which follows reports questioning the existence of the pandemic.. Thus the H1N1 was novel and the vast majority of the world s population had no immunity setting the stage for rapid spread worldwide.. This season there was an early wave which could be considered a second wave or just an extension of the spring wave.. However in either event the potential for another wave in the winter/spring is high because conditions support the spread of influenza and the pandemic H1N1 has crowded out seasonal H1N1 and H3N2 so the only influenza A currently circulating at significant numbers is pandemic H1N1. Resistance developed at multiple positions in the targeted NA gene but the resistance was largely limited to the H3N2 in patients who were treated with the sub-optimal dose of Tamiflu.. In early 2008 Norway reported a high level (over 60%) of Tamiflu resistance (H274Y) in patients infected with H1N1. Unlike the results in Japan the patients had not been treated with Tamiflu and Tamiflu was rarely used in Norway for seasonal flu.. Detailed analysis showed that the H274Y was present as early as 2006 but at a lower level.. Moreover it also had D225E raising concerns of a repeat of the evolutionary events in seasonal H1N1. Initial searches for other examples were negative but the frequent acquisition of D225E was found especially in travelers from the United States

As we were there so early we had to wait a little until we were met by the trainers.. As the reception area is so beautiful this was not a hardship.. Over breakfast we had the chance to get to know the rest of the group and for our trainer to find out what we already knew about Discovery Cove.. This is normally one of my favourite parts of the day but they had a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated in the main part of the aviary which meant that we could not get into there.. Still we spent some time in the large bird aviary and in the small bird sanctuary before we were collected for a tour

Our TL wore all-season 17-inch (245/50R17) Michelin tires that delivered a middling 0.83g on the skid pad.. For comparison a TL SH-AWD with sticky 19-inch Michelin Pilot PS2s will generate 0.93g and a Infiniti G37 with 18-inch Bridgestone Potenzas posts 0.91g.. But we tell you when you're out driving on that dark swaying ribbon in the mountains ultimate grip is a less critical parameter than how progressively and smoothly those grip limits are revealed.. It takes a set early in a corner and tracks faithfully through with little to no steering corrections.. For its size weight distribution and modest tires the TL is a pretty remarkable handler.. Still Not Silly-Looking As ever the 2009 Acura TL is a weird bird in the entry luxury segment.. Despite the redesign for the TL this positioning hasn't changed for 2009. Not just won’t accept it but can’t see it cannot get a grasp on the whole phoney baloney spirit of Olympism for long enough to see the other 205 nations aren’t just the supporting cast in an everlasting narrative about American sporting glory but have their own hopes and aspirations their own narratives to write.. I travel for the ports and the itinerary this was a huge bonus for me.. Yes they had room on the 9:00 tour! I frantically signed waivers to make the tour on time only to find that the tour bus was waiting for late passengers.. I went directly from the zipline tour to meet Floyd for my whale watch who was there an hour early. It caught me by surprise but it was okay

We are back and here is the beginning of the trip report as promised..the lower 48 but is a way of life for many still in Alaska.. Day 1 (pre ABD) Flew from Anchorage to Fairbanks early in the morning with great views of Mt.. Less than ½ the price that ABD wanted for an add on day at Sophie Station).. If you want to come up early to Fairbanks and want to have a more wilderness experience you might want to look into this place.. We stopped at Bird Point for some photos and a break then arrived at the hotel around 4pm

Bring one and go away with one; no cost and no profit just a facility in the supermarket for the English and or French who like to read books.. great for holidaymakers but not so good for gardeners most of us are hoping for some decent rain! However the weather will surely turn cooler soon and in most years we do have some rain sometime during October.. * sowing seeds of plants that will flower early next year such as larkspur (pied d alouette) wallflowers (giroflé) sweet peas (pois de senteur) and hollyhocks (rose tremière) * around the house this is a good time to tidy up pots and containers
