We grew a Madeline Angevine at my last address - it's a white grape that is popular workhorse in English wine making and it grew well on the south side of a London terrace Never got round to making wine from it but the grapes are edible which is nice as the first

When my brother moved into his home he had all of the grape vines removed that the previous owner had grown for years.. I only grew herbs this year

i grew up helping in a big garden every year.. of course we had potatoes and cucumbers turnips and even had watermelons and had grape vines too

just a normal suburban household but we grew everything back there....corn beets carrots parsnips 4 different kinds of potatoes god knows how many types of tomatoes beans peas broccoli cauliflower lettuce cabbage sunflowers cucumbers zucchini pumpkins radishes onions garlic spinach....and that..we even moved in like the rhubarb and the grape vines and the crabapples and the pear trees and the plum tree that put out more plums than we could ever reasonably use in a year

I grew up on a farm in the north eastern part of Kansas.. Dad also had a small orchard with apple peach and cherry trees and some grape vines.. This was all on 160 acres which at that time was considered a respectable acerage..today that's pretty small potatoes

Grape harvesting? For something like wine? (I ask wide-eyed) And as a youth its understandable it would be tedious.. Which was fun but the apples and pears always grew too high off the ground and the blackberry vines hurt! (Laughs) Such are the memories of children; full of dreary chores and sparkles of pain
