Gt on down to a slipway one weekend and just watch how it's done! It will provide hours of fun watching al lthe newbies getting it wrong and taking forever but it will also show you how it's done (and how it's not done)

Thanks that got read of the java.lang.IllegalArgumentException but it still complains about not having JSP support

try this: Code: sudo mkdir -p /usr/share/java/webapps and then restart jetty: Code: sudo /etc/init.d/jetty stop sudo /etc/init.d/jetty start That seems to do the trick for me

Is probably important to note that I can run jetty using the maven jetty plugin in the same distro but I was looking at deploying my app to a more standard jetty installation using just a war file

1) your attempt to capture the light of dusk - dark blue sky contrasting with the artificial night lamps of the jetty - which was orange.. However in terms of composition - I find that more needs to be done since it shows a mere snapshot of a jetty which spanned the entire photo - perhaps you could re-compose to get a better effect
