post21852176] Are there any all inclusive resorts in Nassau that have snorkeling that might be comparable to a catamaran snorkeling excursion? I mean...do you have to go out in deep water in order to see anything worth seeing? I really loved the snorkeling off the catamaran on our last trip but my husband is not too fond of the deep

Beach snorkeling in Grand Turk is great for fish life and not so wonderful for coral formations.. Good snorkeling areas both north and south are easily in walking distance

Are there any areas to 'snorkel' that are extremely shallow (< 3ft)? I'm wondering if I should bring snorkels for my children (7 & 3.)

Back from an awesome cruise with lots of snorkeling. I would say that Tortola was the best.. If you go to the beach and head to the left there is awesome snorkeling. Saw lots of fish and a turtles

Sweet thread! I have a brownies third lung right now and its actually going to be going up for sale ASAP! I also like using the system they have that just attaches to a dive tank that you leave in your boat/kayak

Thanks! Yea the few times I've been to East Texas the water visibility has been poor so I also assumed that there wasn't much wildlife to be found but you just have to look for spots that might yield results

When we snorkled in Cozumel we were in very deep water with a guide and were told we would be in the water a long time so they put regular orange life vests around our waist

I am not a good swimmer but I have no problems snorkeling. When we took the kids I got in the water with my daughter with the live vests she freaked out I could not help her since I was insecure myself

We went to Tabyana beach and snorkled. The beach and snorkeling were both absolutely fabulous and the "Monkey Lala" drinks were amazing! I cant wait to go again - 55 days to go!
