post22459344] Now might be a good time for HAL pax from Canada to lobby for an extra Hawaii cruise from Vancouver to Vancouver as HAL deploys/redeploys their vessels from time to time.. It's getting to be such a huge hassle to fly and if it's not going to be an big ordeal to fly within Canada I'll be doing that

post22469506] That makes a lot of sense. It would be a great idea if a cruise or two more to the Caribbean could originate in Canada also (Quebec city) or even a Panama Canal cruise.. I often wondered at why so few cruises embark in Canada and given current events that dearth becomes less of a minor inconvenience and more of a full blown one.. As both Vancouver and Quebec are great destinations on their own they are sure spark interest in the cruise community generally as well

Bad news (but a way to get around it) for Skytrain riders to/from the airport; The Canada Line YVR Add Fare and how it works TransLink Commissioner Martin Crilly has now approved the amount and structure of an additional fare that TransLink will charge to some Canada Line customers departing the Airport and Sea Island to transit destinations..Vancouver and beyond

I'm SOOO psyched for the Olympics...watching the USA U-17 hockey team beat Canada for a gold medal & the USA junior hockey team beat Canada in OT to win the gold medal tonight has given me "ragin' hockey fever"! It's been 30 years since Miracle On Ice & 50 years since our 1st Olympic hockey gold...think we're due & being in Vancouver it's close to being "home" as it can get! Hope we complete the "hockey hat-trick" by winning gold in Vancouver...both men & women! I know the men now use NHL professionals but the USA team is very young and perhaps not as talented as Canada Russia
