And of course i finished the right door and after i went to put the right door trim panel back on i realized i put a lil to much ramaat on and and to trim a lil bit away from the edges

Re: Need alpine experience.

Taking a course (club course or not doesn't matter if the guide is ACMG certified) is a good way to get some basic skills and hopefully one comes out of it knowing enough to know what questions to ask and to have at least some what of a feel for if people are talking
Re: Need alpine experience.

From what I could distill from what everyone has said I think I will take a course with the island alpine guides.. They have a fairly short mountain skills course that looks pretty good.I just need some experience with glacier travel and belaying and things so I can move onto bigger more technical moutains
Re: Need alpine experience.

A whole other ball of wax is some of the mountaineering school options. As long as you do your research and find a quality course/trip of interest you will be led by a certified guide who is somewhat focused on teaching you as you go..pretty condensed/immersive over a 2 or 3 day weekend course. This would also give you a good base of knowledge and get you some confidence to get out and practice your technique with clubs or other partners you find

Radio lock-out Code for Alpine C43 -dealer stumped

Of course only after I reconnected everything did I realize that there was no radio card in the glovebox.. The radio in question is a Mexican-made Alpine head unit (OEM of course) model C43 s/n AL 8BDU W 10 28824. I was wondering if anyone on this forum could potentially help me get to the bottom of this

I'm guessing once running off of the Alpine HU it should be a lot cleaner.. unless of course I am unhappy with the new sound... I may resource you in the future if you don't mind of course! All depends on the sound with the new HU.

Re: So I took the Plunge! I picked up a 1999 Alpine White M3!

Will do I just moved and I have limited net access right now so pics might be a bit. I will be focusing on maintenance first OF COURSE! but the brakes are something that needs to be maintenanced anyways so why not upgrade too? Then of course there is a ding in the hood...so why not go CF hood? You see why my way of doing things got me into trouble before...as in wasnt happy with 300

Re: Alpine 9887 or Eclipse CD7100? Can't decide....

post10480523] I was just looking a crutchfield and the 9887 is $400 and the 7100 is $700. I think I would go with the alpine with the same features.. Of course that seems to be the big challenge

Re: alpine imprint ?'s

Of course some customers wanted to do it differently but if they didn't care then that's how I did it..I would take the highs back down to flat and the subwoofer to where it should have been (depending on settings and such of course)

Re: 1997 E39 Alpine White 528i M-Tech M5 Nashville TN

I have the receipt on that and of course oil changes which were performed at Akin Bimmerworks here in the Nashville area.. Tailights are easy to remove as well as the wheels of course. The only things that would be a pain to remove are the suspension and that is why I will not put it back to stock (your gain...awesome suspension setup) and I don't have the stock bumpers anymore so a big plus on the M5 bumpers included with that price
