Re: Are Just a Few Being Saved? Who are the few?

23Then one said to Him "Lord are there few who are saved?" And He said to them 24 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate for many I say to you will seek to enter and will not be able.. Strive here certainly indicates effort and the narrow gate certainly indicates a specific and even difficult target.. So it is obvious that here He speaks of the effort it will take for anyone to achieve the kingdom - Heaven and the Beatific vision.. This again speaks to those who become complacent and lazy and lax in their struggle to "be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect"

Same day turns JFK-LAX-SFO-LAX-JFK with 45 minutes to connect to each segment (flights start 7:45AM and ends 12:45AM).. I'm sure someone here must have done this before so here's my question..Are my chances high? Also Does anyone know if the flights will be in the same terminal in LAX and SFO? I'm trying to avoid the red-eye as i have work Tues

Trying to sort out LAX-BER-NYC-LAX
23:43 5-Jan-10
By: pnoeric
-) 1/28 1/29 or 1/30 - LAX-BER 2/5 2/6 or 2/7 - BER-NYC about a week later (2/12ish) - NYC-LAX Here's what I've figured out so far: - despite good deals to BCN getting from BCN to BER (even on cheap crummy EasyJet) offsets any savings so after an hour of messing around with BCN..Here's where I'm struggling: I did a search using ITA for a multi-city and trying to find UA-operated flights for the first leg ("lax : o:ua+" to "ber")..

Now that might be fine for someone who's already here. But someone who's just got in from LAX will have been trying to sleep through their body clock's afternoon and then be getting up at 10 pm or 11 pm body clock time in order to catch a flight that leaves at 1 am or 2 am body clock time.. Neither of these solutions is perfect (and it may well be one reason why the BA fares on this route are a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the AF or LH fares).. I offer these thoughts so that the OP can have a fuller picture of what the advantages and disadvantages are of the alternatives

This hotel is a very good one for SPG recognition and I believe there are many threads here that support that

Sakura Lounge - This is the second time I've been here and both times I've been the only person in the lounge.. NRT-LAX (AA 170) International transfers were pretty efficient in NRT

post33597301] Loved flying into SNA and will be leaving LAX in the dust in future trips.. Have one of those rooms at GC that I have read about in one of the long hallways that go on forever....we are getting moved today.. Hall ways are long but we used the stairs made it a much shorter trip to the portico leading to DTD

I know there are some heavy domestic flyers who would come up short on 500s/CR1s but I don't think it's going to be all that much

Velasquez/Rothwell- I think the majority of Sherdoggers are so hung up on the Brown Pride tattoo and hype that they're mistaking their hate for Cain as an honest belief that Big Ben will win..Rothwell's lax takedown defense to take him down and beat him up on the mat
