What's the reality of this?

1. I wouldn't have anyone drilling on my new car's interior.... 2. Any imported car is going to take at least a couple of weeks to get a part not typically worn out (you should see how long it takes to get some parts from Nissan).. Looking at the $32K price of a G8 and thinking that police cars based on that also have to sell for 32K is ignoring reality of how things are priced and how car makers create and price law enforcement vehicles

I simply think they are in for a serious reality check and they really really need to have other options and backup plans on-the-ready the moment they start production.. The Dodge Charger's advantage is that it will have been on the market long enough that it will be the car with the most aftermarket Police goodies being manufactured.. However the Caprice's new-kid-on-the-block lack of custom made LE equptment is offset by the fact that the Holden Caprice has been a police car for a few years now in Oz and there's plenty of police add-ons already available

Everybody in the world has pain and problems but nobody has the right to drown themselves in booze then take off in a car PERIOD! If it wasn't Jerry then it very well could have been you & your family maybe coming home from a vacation or a local movie house.. She isn't even a contributing civilian. What has she done that is so great? So now I am sure if she is out on bail that she is drowning herself with addition booze & pills while feeling so sorry for herself and feeling like the victim again

Even in a town this size she d expect to hear the sounds of machinery the sound of car engines or at least of people walking about.. If it could create anything from food to clothes to electronics or even car parts she could see how her world would go through an instant revolution away from their current industry-dependant society

The same goes for civilian practices as well.... In civilian practice when all is said and done that contract value (depending on the math) can be worth in excess of 1 million dollars even if your yearly "salary" is under $300K

It's easy in the mind of an airmchair quarterback to do that that make sense to a civilian. But the reality is the tag may be stolen or fictitious and the registered owner on that tag is 9 times out of 10 not the one driving the car! Hispanics are the perfect example.. The illegals have construction jobs or whatever and just pay the legal guy to go get them a car and he does

Cops loooooove to pull over a driver with a radar detection device in the car. It will automatically put him in an "issue citation" mode no matter what your excuse or what your circumstance.. I have ridden with a number of LEOs as a civilian observer over the years and there's been quite a few times my host has pulled over a car that normally he would have let squeak by after all was said and done..

However you can't ignore the fact that the same theory applies to the civilian job market: corrupt and mismanaged bankers (and lenders) lawyers doctors teachers (how many teachers and coaches have been arrested in Montgomery and Prince George's counties this past year Gary?) mechanics .... First you can't compare the well-educated and highly trained professionals of the public safety profession to the general civilian populace (ie: The Sheep).. Police fire-rescue EMS doctors nurses etc simply have a higher education and life experience in reality than the general public
