Interesting stuff sounds about right from what I've heard of MS from those involved - I live in the Sound so have a fair bit of contact with those guys but am not personally acquainted with the corporation as you are

I'm running Kubuntu 8.04.3 Hardy. All was working fine till yesterday. My SMPS (power supply) had some issue.. The slider is moving the song is playing but nothing heard. Firefox or any browser is not accessing my soundcard.. Of course I tried all that is listed in the "Comprehensive Sound Problem Solutions Guide" in the Forum Sticky but could not get it to work.. Here's some commands and their output Code: bdsatish@mathmachine:~$ aplay -l * List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices * card 0: I82801DBICH4 [Intel 82801DB-ICH4] device 0: Intel ICH [Intel 82801DB-ICH4] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: I82801DBICH4

Need some serious help with MK2 sound
06:23 3-Feb-10

By: Love5508
I just got a Mortal Kombat 2 jamma board complete with the sound board and all the wiring. Its revision 3.1 and looks like new. I installed it into my MK4 cabinet and everything looks great EXCEPT....there is this constant annoying hum in the back ground. Doesnt matter how loud or quite I make the.. I checked all the power and I am getting the correct -5v to the sound board. Its a hum that normally I would say is interference of some sort BUT when the game starts playing a demostration the hum changes pitch depending on what is happening on screen...if the screen changes quickly from one frame then blacks out.. I have heard a new power supply may fix this issue but I think I may be in denial.

post3172178] T2-the sound of bullets going into t-1000 I believe the same sound effect is in this very clip [http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/151570/] about 30 seconds in..TM) does some kind of tracking to see where the rock came from - then the triangle crosshair comes on and he zooms in and it makes this really loud bass heavy WOM-WOM-WOM sound - that is my favorite

That s another doubt I have: Being the Wharfedales just in the warm side of the neutral sound won t be the result sound of them with the Pio too bright? I m going to use it maybe 50% on home cinema 30% on videogames and 20% on music but I don t want to compromise the musical sound.. I heard that the SW150 makes good match with the other Wharfedale and it's ok with the music but maybe a bit lacking with the home cinema

Of all of these sources the Internet is the most readily accessible although some texts found on the Internet may lack credibility and offer little or no informant data.. Some of the stories are legends but most are personal experience stories

(as well as the kick drum) Getting that kick and snare to sound right has been tough and I still think they can sound better.. A very listenable song; I enjoyed it more than many songs I have heard on the radio recently.. I heard a fellow forum-mate's recording and was absolutely dumbfounded flabberghasted and in all other ways astonished at the sound he was getting from sub-professional equipment

post3316110] Sounds great. Yeah-ah snare and cymbals are there! Big difference from the first time I heard your tracks.. Now I just hope I can re-create the same quality of sound on my next project! I've heard from a few professional audio engineers who have used the gamut of DAWs today and they say that ardour is among the best non-linear audio editors out there and it's being actively developed too..

I'm working on my own mystery sound from my 2005 RX330. Maybe it's the same sound. A high-pitch and rapid chirp or squeak is heard when the fan motor is turned on with either the A/C or heat activated..AC001-06 (Revised). This TISB is called "Moan Sound With A/C On" and here's the description: "Some 2004 – 2006 RX 330 owners may experience a moan noise heard at 1100 rpm to 1400 rpm with the A/C ON

opening a gate on the drum overheads using the sidechain...sound class if thats what they did! No it's not sidechaining - Sidechaining is used a lot in recent dance music - it has a particular sound to it - you take a very plain baseline without a pulse and make it instantly sound like it's got a groove in it once.. I heard something else by Kanye on the radio this morning - and I could clearly hear the volume riding

Some of you that have been around for a while may recall when I was "requested" to do a review of a particular live album.... I haven't really listened to any of his music in years but I did like some of his work at the time.. Some of it I like and some just doesn't sound right
