No all don't need to be students if living in a "student house" from a private landlord. You're best asking a landlord before it happens.. I lived in a uni student house with my two housemates and as long as I paid up our landlord didn't mind at all

Hello I wonder if anyone could help me please. Our daughter is currently in her final A level year and plans to go to college/university next year to study for a Foundation Degree.. We really wanted her to be able to get an education with as little debt as possible to give her the best start and for this reason with our encouragement she has chosen a college nearby so she can remain living at home while studying.. Ironically I earn little enough for my own pre-1999 student loans to be deferred each year and yet from what little understanding I do have we are going to have to pay for our daughter's education

Reasonable intellect says if the school is going to close anyway-and we know it is- them just let us our poor spelling kids and our tax money go.. The Haycock student population leaving will alleviate overcrowding and cost of new teachers etc.... because Quakertown is projected to have a growth in student population

I don't know how to give you the advice... Therefore i hope i could help you for sharing my experience with you. when I was a student in middle school my friends always teased me with the color of my skin and they would like to say something like "You shouldn't eat sesame or your skin will become darker".. You know in China though we are yellow there're something different in the colour of our skins to some extent

I and many parents I know tried to get our kids in there.. For those folks thinking of moving here let me be clear about the state of our schools as of today as the situation is changing it seems by the day.. All are doing the best they can to deal with the growth.. I just didn't want to blow the rest of our savings and have nothing left at the end of the student visa journey.. The student visa is pretty hard and very risky.. .with the threats of changes last year and then the new 'Job Ready Program' coming in it's a bit of a minefield! yeah our savings totally ran out last May when we paid the last of hubbies fees! Good on ya with the nursing degree I hope it goes well for you! Cheers Mandy

I think that would be best for your kids.. Looking at the system here in WA I would definately take our children home asap...our plan was that one finished his education off at college then hopefully Uni then the youngest would start his two year GCSE's...had it all planned out....even had places for them both at a High School and College....but then our.. ready to help...and he was a straight A student here in Years 8 and 9....it all changes though in year 11 and 12...that is when the only really hard work starts (a teacher here said to us that until then education here has been very easy for the students and that is one of the causes of high drop out

We have made the decision now that myself and the kids will stay in the UK when we go back on the 31st March while OH comes back to tie up work (We were originally just going for a reccie to check out the areas and making the final move at the end

FREAKSHOW' that clogs the streets with cars full of university student revellers in a parade of sorts marked by the perfume of smoking clutch plates and fuming hot radiators.. If we fail to understand these disturbing phenomena; fail to correctly assess the motivations which drove us in our mostly forgotten youth; then we must submit to the fear these reports instill in us.. Perhaps their pursuit of a more abundant life remains obscured because our(mostly irrational) fear has achieved an adulthood with seasoned arms and legs that in our youth remains a tentative force at best(not yet conditioned to outrun our intellect)
