i think the hotel towels are the most likely culprit in my case but we also did wash one load of clothes while we were there (there is a laundry room next to the pool).. i remember that the dryer took FOREVER to dry our clothes (like 3 cycles) so it could have been that it didn't get hot enough to kill any bacteria that could have been left behind by previous hotel guests

I stay in an expensive room and only tip $2 haha).. I'd just hate to get there and leave a $20 then find out that they switched housekeepers and I stiffed them the rest of the week! I know people who work at hotels and they usually try to assign the same housekeeping staff to the same floors/rooms. However do keep in mind that not..Thank god the housekeeper didn't take anything because we had over $1000 in there plus all our passports airplane tickets etc

post35202873] i think comfort inn maingate is just bad news all around. i like the kids' suites but the time we stayed there (which was for 5 days) i left with a MRSA infection that i'm almost certain i contracted from the hotel towels.. i won't ever stay there again either

In a new place different bed different lighting - he could have been up all night! Here's our munchkin playing in his disney-issue pack-n-play: LOL! yes we had him set up in the bathroom area.. I felt that was the best because there is a curtain that we could close up a bit so we could watch a little tv before we went to sleep ourselves (however by the end of the day I think we watched maybe 3 minutes before falling asleep each night!).. So we ll just move on from that!) Thomas was getting hungry and a little overwhelmed now so we headed to our very first trip to a Baby Center.. Yeah they rock! We spent a lot of time in these baby centers and it was a great little break! The nursing room at the Magic Kingdom that day was a bit on the stuffy side but I think that may have just been because it was early and they probably didn t have any air going through that room all night

Re: OT: Bonus room vs. guest room

We have 4 bedrooms and a bonus room. One of the bedrooms is used as a guest room and the bonus room is used as our office.. Ethan's toys are mostly in our basement (it is finished) and we have some of his favorite toys in our family room.. In the future I will put toys in our bonus room so he can play up there. There is plenty of room for our desk and some toys

Then when it was done you could turn it into an office or a real done up guest room. Also is the bonus room located above a garage or anything? You have to take into consideration the extra cost of heat/cooling when its there. We have 4 bedrooms since we remodeled.. My sewing machine is in there along with a tv for the boys and our bookshelves and piano

Re: Is The War Room Becoming An "Advertising" Room?

I only visit the War Room once in a blue moon and find that is isn't about opt-in or not.. Someone emailed their list and say put your WSO in the War Room for free and then you will get a zillion testimonials especially if it isn't doing well.. This is before you have downloaded anything if there is anything to download.. Again a "Marketer" said don't bother with the WSO lay out our offer in the War Room because you don't have to pay $20 to list it and you can get all your friends to bump it to the top and give any "crap" item with the upsell for what would have been your WSO .. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what is approved there

Our 5 month old kitten keeps waking up our daughter in the middle of the night!

I'm new to the forum and have been searching for some help with our 5 month old kitty.. Never hides plays and sleeps with our 80 lb mutt and 25 lb boston terrier/french bulldog and has a great attitude.. When we leave her door open Lexi will go in her room and try to play with her and wake her up but if we close it she paws at her door till she wakes up.. My daughter was coming into our room in the middle of the night every night for a week before we figured out what was going on.. its only been a couple nights but I hate to keep leaving her in there especially because she is so social

post2818531] I guess I'm sure she will grow out of it and appreciate your responses. My question is though is there any ideas on how to keep her away from our daughters door without having to shut her in the back rooms of the house by herself? Closing the door is not enough because she will just paw at it for an hour until my daughter gets woken up and opens the door.. She just gets frustrated yells at the cat and comes in our room to get away from her.. I want my daughter to be able to stay in her room and not get woken up.. A more specific question would be: Is there something we can put in front of our daughters door to keep the cat from going up to it? Is there something I can spray on it or something I can put on the floor that she won't want to walk on? Something natural maybe? Tried foil on the floor but she

Re: What can we expect of our Cruise Room Steward?

post22893449] We will be on our first cruise aboard the Carnival Legend! So we have no clue what to expect of the steward.. What are somethings to expect of them? Is there anything special we can ask them for some people say foam matress pads a different toilet paper and there was something else mentioned but I can't remember.... We know that we are suppose to tip them how much is proper $1.00? There are 3 of us staying in one room. I have also seen to pack post-it notes so you can leave them a note while your off the ship.. Please share the knowledge you have! In my opinion the room stewart and the wait staff (drink runners too) are the hardest working.. We always give our room stewart and extra $20 - $40 for the two of us on top of the pre-paid gratuity

The beds are really comfy so you probably won't need much there. They are mainly there to make up your room and they are not your concierge so you can't ask many special favors..that fall outside the realm of making up your room. And if you do tip extra $10 a person for the entire cruise is plenty

I was standing there in a t-shirt and a pair of panties looking back at him.. I started screaming and the guy I lived with came running in and threw open the window snarling "What are you doing out there asshole?" (I gotta admit Jim sounded mean as hell right about then...) The guy starts stammering that he's looking for a garage sale at some other address on our street

I would be firm that she not be in the room with you and not take her there for nothing even if that means you sleep in the floor while she is on the couch or even sleep on her floor while she is in her bed for a bit
