This is a giant leap forward for Air Berlin: we are offering our customers more direct flights and more destinations in Thailand and our Thai passengers have the option of a second direct flight to our attractive capital city said Matthias von Randow.. In winter Air Berlin operates one non-stop flight a week from Berlin to Phuket and three non-stop flights a week from the German capital to Bangkok

Phuket to become AirAsia regional hub PHUKET CITY: Thai AirAsia will begin direct flight services to Phuket from several new major cities in the region starting by the end of the year the low-cost carrier has announced.. About 85 percent of passengers book through the Internet 10 percent though our call center and the remainder from other sources he said.. The last in a long list of carriers who have tried and failed to operate flights between the two cities was Nok Air which abandoned the route after a six-month trial period in November 2007. I have suggested to Mr Tassapon that AirAsia offer Bangkok-Phuket-Haad Yai flights perhaps three times a week

I think one of the cheapest option is to fly with Air Asia .... Not much choice for you because it's peak season afterall and HK is one of the transit point for EU -> Phuket / USA -> Phuket traffic HX have some charter flight to Phuket and you may get it with package cheap though

the southern resort island with four major regional cities from November.. The airline now has a single international service to and from Phuket-Singapore and flights to Bangkok.. Thai AirAsia will introduce daily flights from Phuket to Jakarta and to Hong Kong from about mid-November

Flights 6/7 BKK-KBV FD A320 HKT-BKK PG A320 Did not stop in Bangkok and transferred straight onto Air Asia to Krabi ($24) As usual for Air Asia flight was efficient and with assigned seating there is no more mad elbowing to get on the plane.. After spending a wonderful 10 days in Thailand in Krabi Koh Lanta and Phuket it was time to head back to the Middle East.. Boarding PG at HKT Flights 8/9 BKK-DOH-DXB QR A330/A340 Again another efficient on-time flights from QR.. Choice of dinner from BKK was Chicken Massaman and Grilled Tilapia

The daily flights will depart Phuket at 8am with the return trip leaving Hat Yai International Airport at 4pm.. Happy Air is wholly owned by a Phuket investor who has asked that his name not be released to the press Phatcharapon said..Phuket as a second regional air hub in Thailand.. Developments such as the launch of several flights from Singapore to Hat Yai will also benefit Phuket as passengers will be able to make connecting flights he said
