I wonder if the girls would like to go to Disney next time your sis goes.. I would also suggest maybe instead of taking the kids on your next trip could you mention things to your sis and maybe plan for your sis and her girls to go with you next year?

Dh and I did this back before we had our 2 kids. We were childless and I have no idea how it came up - but we decided to bring his sis and her 3 kids (who would NEVER have the opportunity as single mom does not have the money for this type of trip) as a gift to them

On Saturday my sis (who bought ds the DSi) told me that the other sis (niece's mom) had something to tell her.. This particular sis has no kids and has always spoiled her nieces/nephews

She has always done special things for her nieces/nephews all the way back to when the first one was born 31 yrs ago! As each of them ages though she begins to back off with the gift giving but she still does things for them

If anyone can offer any useful advice on this dilemma I'd be really grateful. OK here goes sorry it may be quite long .. 1. My sis is a single parent with two teenage girls aged 13 and 16.She's had problems with both girls they don't respect her one little bit and my sis had to drive around tonight looking for the 13 yo.. My sis also discovered tonight that my nieces friend has actually met up with 'her' internet chat 'friend'

I am a relative provider....i have my sisters three kids. I did not supervise the visits. I wasn't ever asked to(well Sis wanted me to) but i said NO.. I said NO for a few reasons....one....i didnt want to be put in the position of having to write up a visit summary and tell how Sis related to the girls...how she was physcially or mentally or on drugs/not on drugs etc.. And lastly....my nieces were very much conflicted as to who was their real parent

Friday night the 2 nieces are having a sleepover at my sis-in-laws house.. Sis-in-law and I are planning a surprise for them Friday night.. What suggestions do you have to make this surprise for such a great pair of nieces go well? Should I keep it short? Bring hot cocoa? Heating packs to keep their toes toasty? Any suggestions to make it better? I'm childless but love being an aunt (borrow child go to fair feed cotton candy and return to sender ) But seriously - I want

I make the same dinner every year. Ham glazed with brown sugar and crushed pinapples. I buy the canned corn buscuits green salad. My sis makes mash potatos and brings some tamales My other sis brings spinch dip.. I had my other sis bring 2 -2liter sodas my nephew(24) 2 -2liters my two nieces a dessert each

Sis called me to let me know that mom is in bad health. Her heart which should have three valves only has two and the bottom of her heart is damaged and isn't even pumping very well. She is being scheduled for open heart surgery! Oh gawd.. I can't do much as I told my sis but I feel I should be there to help care for her when she needs it the most and I will have help from mom's boyfriend as well as my sister and my nieces and nephews. I'm going to be very careful of my back during this but I do need to be there

I have spoken to Sis today and were are going with just buying for the kids which is enough with the 8 between us! Oh and 4 kids and 2 adults having birthdays between end Nov and beginning of Jan.. Today my Sis has given her a full size keyboard that her DS hasnt used in a few years so thats one thing off the list and alot better than we were going to buy for her.. I also have the same nieces xmas pressie sorted

before she got her first girl (hubby is one of the younger of 8 total living) and out of the 17 nieces and nephews 4 are girls.. I have one bro & one sis. Neither one has kids.. My sis & her dh are trying like he* to adopt a girl from China
