If it happened in the field of play it would be a fumble since he had possession but was not touched down before the ball was kicked out.. Why did they rule that? Because he was on the ground not yet having been contacted by a defender and secured the ball in his grasp

elsewhere on the field.. If the receiver goes to the ground in the acting of making a catch he must control the ball through/on the ground to establish possession.. The end zone matters in this case only because once he established possession and had the ball across the plane of the goal line the play was over

Yes they have played well but if their offense gets off the field on three and outs I don't know that they can continue being this consistent.. On the ground the Crimson Tide love to run the ball they love to control the clock and they love to keep opposing offenses off the field as they average 222.7 rushing yards per game in their last three games and average 5.5 yards per carry in those games.. Having said that I just want to remind you that Alabama runs the ball about 40 times a game they run it more effectively than most teams in the Nation and even when they do decide to pass I think they'll be fine against a Volunteers defense that has played well but that is not know for coming up with big plays

WOW! I know Baylor's defense has allowed only 24.0 points per game their last three games but the Bears defense has also allowed a whopping 488.0 total yards of offense per game in those games and 5.8 yards per play in those games.. On the ground the Cowboys have been lethal rushing for 204.7 yards per game their last three games on 4.9 yards per carry in those games and that is something Baylor is going to have problems with seeing how the Bears have allowed 200.7 rushing yards per game..September 19 against Rice.. Once again the pressure he is going to have in this game is not something he can handle because the Bears can't run the ball and without a running game the Cowboys can keep sending guys at him all night long with success.. Baylor has actually done a good job holding onto the ball despite all their problems on offense and they have lost only 1 fumble in their last three games but having said that this Oklahoma State defense is relentless they have forced 7 fumbles in their last three games and have managaed to recover three of

Agger argued by many to be one of the better footballing centre halves around instead of attempting (under no pressure) to control the ball and play a bit of football hacked the thing away.. you can see every time he gets the ball he only has the simple pass in mind

We are about to send the patches to our QA for internal testing where we will hammer on the changes for around a week to make certain that the issues were properly fixed and that new ones weren't added.. - Fixed a soft hang on an inbound where the inbounding player would miss the ball handoff from the referee.. - The CPU should no longer pass the ball to a teammate when the recipient has a foot out of bounds

I think the loss to the Bearcats is going to bring the Bulls level of play down a notch or two for the remainder of the season.. On the ground the Bulls love running the ball and Daniels can really move as the team is averaging 148.7 rushing yards per game the last three games and averaging 3.9 yards per carry in those games.. That puts all the pressure on Daniels to have a good game passing the ball here and I don't think I trust him

Don t worry about his ceiling this kid will continue to improve on 09 foundations how long before he is announced as the best kick EVER? 7: Leuenberger Almost the perfect scenario returning from injury with Clark number 1 ruck Leuey will be able to continue to develop IMO still a bit of a way from a breakout season but I feel the signs will be there come the end of 2010.. That flexibility sees him make the top 10 10: Drummond Attacking/rebounding from defence a brilliant link player that can quickly send the ball over blocking zones with a raking left foot bomb.. He is another with size and grunt that could put the fear of into an opponent standing between him and the ball or goals surely not another that can average 20+ in the twos but struggles at the next level.. 19: Adcock Jed on his day can be a match winner one of his major assets is his ability to moved around from defence and through the middle

This was a game where both teams had the ball 8 times not too uncommon for the Colts to play such a game.. Then Manning found Garcon wide open with a great pass that should have got the ball out to midfield

I don't think they have a problem holding onto the ball.. The Niners have been horrendous in third down situations the last three games converting 21.1% of their chances in those games but that's what the BYE WEEK is made for.. As much as the Texans have forced turnovers on defense they have also turned the ball right back to their opponents and I would be concerned with the fact that they have fumbled 6 times in their last three games and have lost two of those fumbles along the way

Was Philadelphia's offensive line meltdown a one-game anomaly or a long-term problem for Donovan McNabb? Yes McNabb missed some throws mostly in the fourth quarter.. But the line was so ridiculously bad the rest of the game it was hard to put the blame on him.. Henne will have ups and downs as a young quarterback and he's not an exciting fantasy option most weeks because the Dolphins will run a ball control offense led by the Wildcat.. Defenses expect him to pound the ball up the middle and he can take it outside then punish a cornerback
