the packing and cruise are so totally different than what we'll be doing this time. I've been searching & reading for the past few days but have some more questions.. Do you all try to look cute all the time? Or are there plenty of t-shirts and jean shorts? I think I have some pretty cute outfits for dinner white capris and a satin shirt for example and I have my formal outfit bought and dh is bringing a suit (we like to buy a few photos) but what about just

Re: Relaxing in Disney - oxymoron? WL or Poly or BYC

Relaxing at WDW is not an oxymoron at all! As long as you are not a park commando and you like spending time around the resort there is much relaxation to be found if you are looking for it I have stayed at both the WL and Poly and they are both super restful.. We actually spent more time at the Poly than we did in any of the parks! You can't go wrong with either resort and I highly recommend you making time for relaxation...our last trip to the Poly was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had!

We did two years in a row of spring break/Easter week at a slow pace and then the following year DD21 decided we needed more "park" time so we went in Jan 08 (still a very slow time and short hours) and spent all day in the parks visiting all the attractions riding all the rides

Poor guy! But as you said there's always next time! That's what is so great about a Disney trip you can do it all over again because there's so much to see/do..post34951295] Oh man! Not two sick boys. That's no good. It sounds like you had some fun mommy and daughter time though so that's the positive out of that

I just love it when the princesses spend extra time with the kids.. How sweet that Aurora spent quality time with A. she looks so excited! Oh and I think it's great that she can read Japanese! What a child prodigy! I would've ignored that nasty FP lady too

If it's happening daily at a specific time and you always give him a bath at a certain time then yes alter the bath time as it's clashing with his dump time!

Never thought to do something like that-or else my commando park hopping never allowed the time. Yes some people's idea of parenting is mind boggling to me.. It's so much more relaxing too without the herds of people after it's over.. There's just not enough time to get in all the table service meals we want to so we're just knocking them out one trip at a time

Cruises can be very relaxing or they can be stressful.. If you pus h yourself to make it to every event it will not be relaxing. We have annual passes to Disney World.. Every time we go we see kids crying parents yelling and families just not having fun

It will most likely be quite cold the first and last days of your cruise as you leave or return to the Northeast. By the time you reach the Caribbean however the temperatures should have risen considerably and may even be considered "hot" at some point.. We find cruising to be very relaxing but we also find plenty of activities available so that should we choose to participate in any we won't suffer from boredom.. How relaxing you find a cruise will depend on your mindset

We used our FP's for Everest (return time was 6:30pm) & it was THE COOLEST thing to ride EE in the dark! You gotta try it! Now we had made a last minute ADR for Tusker dinner at 7pm.. The whole meal was relaxing & a nice way to end out day at AK.. We took a nice relaxing walk back to the car & headed off to the Comfort Inn

same table with the same waitstaff at the same time and with the same people.. For anytime dining you go to a different dining room at whatever time you like and sit at a table size you wish (2 4 6 8 or 10) and will be with different people each night with a different wait staff each night

What can I expect from this cruise that would differ from the HAL cruise i was on previously? Haven't been on Hal...but you'll find a relaxing environment on board.. You sound like a great person...I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time. With your positive attitude it will be impossible to have a bad time! Thanks for your advice! Brian Hope to see you both on board! Nancy
