If you've got a classmate presumably you have also got a lecturer of some sort? Remember that lecturers/teachers are well used to giving references and if they say they are happy to at least you have a fighting chance that even if they don't know every nuance of your personality..credible (head of a charity group someone who volunteers with you and holds a professional job?)

Just found out today that my classmate who took yesterday off from placement down the country to collect her card was sent away as she didn't have a print out of her registration..even tho it was online and she had done it last week? I just said my name to the girl and she never asked for.. Not long now before the desk reserve panic starts...lecturers telling us they have ut the books in but the library not putting them on shelves! I really think there ought to be an NUIG rant thread!

Your time in the dissection room is quite limited but you can with permission and if no other class present enter the room to study or dissect.. Our class has two cadavers with about 19 students to each one we complained pretty much the entire first term about this but this is not going to change.. While the lecturers and those giving tutorials will do their best to explain topics you will have to devote a large amount of time to enable you to keep up with the lectures.. If you need help with this unit or any others I ve found the lecturers to be very accessible and remember that many of your classmates have covered some of this material before and I m sure will be happy to help

they also come up with controversial readings with no evidence textual or otherwise to back them up.. For example one classmate in highschool wanted to interpret Blake's poem The Sick Rose as being about vampires (yes there were people that obsessed before Twilight).. Tends to happen a lot less at uni lecturers will be more demanding in asking you to justify your reading of text
