My in-laws are dead almost 9 years now but when they were alive they got along fine with my parents. We were able to do joint holiday dinners and so forth my in-laws had 2 big parties per year (St.Patrick's Day and 4th of July) that my parents always attended and enjoyed.. They were from the same era so had a lot in common knew people in common from "the old days" and so forth

My parents also really like Rainforest Cafe and I was just at TRex in Sept with my DH and know my parents actually would have enjoyed it esp since the food is really good.. Hope this helps! They are also big on spending time with the movies and such in the World Showcase really spending time on all the pavilions

We bought an inexpensive CD player for in her room and she enjoyed laying in bed reading books and listening to CDs.. The following year the CD player broke and we figured we would just go with an mp3 player for her.. Didn't need the latest and greatest capacity either so we found a 4 gig on Amazon for $40. The wife wanted to buy something for the girls with her first paycheck

my dad was a "cheap" parent and it was embarrassing. by cheap i mean he wore acid wash 80s jeans into the 90s with a free t-shirt with a company logo on it.. i had a friend that was raised on walmart and had frugal parents who saved to put her and her sister thru college.. their parents were hurt over the lack of appreciation and they felt entitled to do whatever they wanted to do with their money and enjoyed being spoiled for the first time

A grieving Anderson 42 soon hit an obstacle in her quest to be buried in the same plot with her son.. The Veterans Affairs Department grants waivers and has approved four similar requests from dead soldiers' parents since 2005. Anderson also sought a waiver.. But under the VA's policy she has to die first to get one a limbo that Anderson finds tough to live with. "It was the most devastating blow that I could ever get " Anderson said in an interview with The Associated Press.. She said she's heard of about a dozen parents who want to be buried with their children in national cemeteries

As long as the group you are with all find it acceptable others can keep the judgemental crap to themselves..post34169729] I am not second guessing myself at all. I am perfectly ok with having a drink or two while the kids were trick or treating.. I am perfectly ok with having a drink at the Friday Night sportngs practices with all the other parents. Yes it is an every Friday night organized event.. when we weren't voluntering at PTO school improvement committees market day coaching etc we were attending the events the other parents were volunteering for

As long as they aren't a danger to themselves or to anyone else it isn't a big deal.. Oh it looks like your hubby also was involved with risky business

Sure i could have done better in school but my mind was distracted with other things I thought were important in life.. Now I don't mean to sound like a bitch being a 21 year old complaining about his mom but my relationship with my parents has really decayed my quality of life in the sense I can never reach their content or feel any sense of approval from them.. For four years I've kept her from meeting my parents until a couple months ago because I didn't want them fcking up the only good thing I had going in life.. They're pessimistic they indirectly despise me and my sister with disapproval of everything we've ever enjoyed doing and they're everything I never want to be when im older

And they want to know these things right when the interview is over and that is not what I want to talk about right after an interview and not with my parents.. I can't make them understand that just b/c I think I did good that means I will get in.. The one that my best friend went with me I was OOS and there was a social activity the night before.. I also enjoyed having her there b/c we got a chance to drive around and look at houses for sale etc.. My parents have never understood that just b/c they think I am the best and they think I am a "shoe-in" for vet school that doesn't mean the school thinks the same

Maybe I have a better relationship with my daughter (even though it hasn't always been perfect) or maybe it's that "only child" syndrome I have for her but I think parents should leave something for their kids.. She's our child and I think it is part of my responsibility as a parent to her to leave her with what I can when her father and I go.. My parents were loving wonderful people though with many friends and enjoyed life

post28891067] Becles I have a question for you please.. (and anyone else who's parents look after their LOs while they work).. Overall it's been good for Charlotte though and the best bit is I can leave her there when she is sick but you can't usually do that with nursery or childminders.. My Dad has really enjoyed having her.. He had a job with long hours (teacher) when we were little and when my boys were little but he's retired from teaching now and has a part time afternoon job.. He's really enjoyed seeing Charlotte grow and develop and he's seen loads of little things he missed out on with us and my boys

Why do so many parents in Wake County Drive their children to and from school every day? Anyway I reckon a huge problem with her and boys is her parents.. I've heard rumours from a friend (which my girlfriend has clarified) about how her parents decide what haircut she has and how her room is.. I don't want to meet up with her in the cold and make her feel worse or talk to her on the phone when it's near her bed time and piss her parents off either
