I’m building a 383 stroker and need help with the cam selection.

This may be a really dumb questions that I could confirm just by looking at my motor in about an hour...but can the head be removed from my '97 FJ-80 W/O removal of the camshafts and associated hardware? I suspect they are in the way of the head bolts...
