timing belt idler

hi changing the timing belt on my 95 espace 2.1td and got the full kit including tensioner and new idler wheel/bearing assy.cant see how the idler comes off.does it need to been driven off from rear of brkt or need to be pulled off from the front.anyone

I am still working on an ongoing issue After I start the car while the engine is cold there is a rattle/ knock coming from the passenger side of the engine located around ps pump area
