hey i have a 1991 honda civic with a b16a engine in it and my car idles fine for a couple of seconds then it starts to rev up and a down i changed the iacv but with one from a d16a6 manifold and its still doing it is it because i changed it from a d serie...

Ok its really wierd what happnd. i have a b16a SIR 2 in my 95 coupe..
i SOMETIMES get a idle that goes from 1k to like 1,200
sometimes it only last for a couple revs.. and sometimes it will keep going..
**THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME!**
