I have a 1971 model Winchester 94. It has a bunch of little pits all over the aluminum receiver. I've seen other 94's like that so I assume it is a chronic problem with the coating.
What coating do you fellows recommend that I can apply at ...

Someone on a dutch forum asked me to ask around here how to get a new (used) receiver.
He own's a Garand but noticed a crack in the receiver.
I don't know how that could happen (asked him but got no reply yet but I think he used hot reloads...
