I tried to do kind of a brownish carapace... starting with graveyard earth, then snakebite leather, up to vomit brown.... the end result: Orange. I'm pretty dissapointed with how the carapace came out, though the rest of the mini looks good in my opin...

I'm going to build a brood of winged warriors for my Tyranid army, and I really don't want to spend alll that money on the forgeworld wings, which I don't think look very nice anyways. But where could I find good, cheap substitutes?
